We closed off with Dez
Jansen – Vice-Chairman of the Rotary International Youth Exchange. We were talking about the Rotary Youth
Exchange program. They are inviting students to apply and be part of the
program next year. The program offers numerous benefits to its young
participants and their Rotarian hosts and mentors, as well as to the community
at large. They have the Long-term exchange which usually last one year and the
Short-term exchange. These exchanges vary from several days to several weeks;
they often take place when school is not in session and usually do not include
an academic program. The closing date for applying in the 7th of
February this year. For further information on the long term exchange you can contact Gavin
Schachat on 084 578 5080 or send an email to robla717@iafrica.com or James Robertson for the short term exchange
on 083 255 4324 or send an email to james@silasvalley.com
