Sakhisizwe - Western Cape SAPS / Men For Change 16 Days of Activism 2nd Annual Enduro motorcycle ride launched

Today Sakhisizwe, was broadcasting live at Weltevreden Valley Hall in Samora Machel where Western Cape SAPS / Men For Change launched their 16 Days of Activism 2nd Annual Enduro motorcycle ride. The SAPS Men for Change, is a network that sought to understand gender equality in order to contribute to the discussions on how men can get involved in building gender equality.

 

We spoke to Andries Douglas - Detective Warrant officer and Public Relations officer for Men For Change.   

 
Men For Change Coordinator Brigadier André Lincoln joined us to talk more about the programme.

 
Lieutenant -Colonel Viljoen - Vice-Chairperson of the Women’s Network also shared some of challenges they face in addressing domestic violence cases.

 
Councillor Nico Mzalisi - Ward 33 city councillor shared some of the programmes they run in addressing gender based violence in the community.
