Run Cape Town invites you to the Run Gugulethu Tour

Philippa Jephson – From Run Cape Town joined us on the line to talk about Run Gugulethu Tour taking place tomorrow in Gugulethu. Run Cape Town is an eco-active tourism initiative that offers guided “sightrunning” tours of Cape Town and the Western Cape. The event will start at 8:30AM at The Mouille Point Lighthouse, 100 Beach Road, Mouille Point and drive in convoy/share lifts to the starting point at Mzoli’s Place, off Klipfontein Road, in Gugulethu at 9AM.  The run starts the run at 9:30AM. It costs R50 per person, which includes the guided run, photos which will be sent digitally to participants after the run, as well as a post-run drink at Mzoli’s. Child Protection Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the rights and well-being of children. It typically includes a series of events, campaigns, and activities aimed at promoting child safety, preventing abuse, and advocating for policies and practices that support children's healthy development.  Molo Songololo is a registered non-profit organization that promotes the rights and protection of children and youth, and especially girls. Their work aligns with the goals of Child Protection Week, focusing on advocacy, education, and empowerment to create a safer and more inclusive environment for children.
