We closed off with
Catherine Peter - One Young World Africa
Director. We were talking about the One Young World Summit that is taking
place in Africa for the first time. One Young World was
founded in 2009 by David Jones and Kate Robertson. It is a London-based charity
that gathers together young people from around the world, helping them make
lasting connections to create positive change. They stage an annual Summit
where the young delegates, backed by the One Young World Counsellors, debate
and formulate solutions for the pressing issues the world faces. The summit is
hosted by the city of Johannesburg till the 5th of
October 2013. Delegates will look at Education, Global Business, Human Rights, Leadership
& Government, Sustainable Development and Youth Unemployment. For more
