We heard from Wendy Moolman – From Northlink FET College. We
were talking about the National Tooling Initiative Programme. The National
Tooling Initiative Programme has announced that free study opportunities for
careers in manufacturing will be made available by the NTIP’s TDM Powered
Programme to prospective students in Cape Town in October. The
outcomes-based apprenticeship training will enable qualifying students to
obtain a globally sought after qualification in toolmaking. Entry requirements are Grade 12 / NC(V)4 / N3 with
required subjects: Mathematics, Physical Science/Engineering Science and
English.
