The Baxter Theatre presents Hayani & Arts Update

Nat Ramabulana and Athandwa Kani were Instudio. We were talking about their show that opened at the Baxter last night. Hayani means “home” in Venda, and it explores what this means in South Africa. It delves into the stories of two unique South Africans to reveal a complex, honest and emotional journey towards understanding themselves as South Africans and what it means to be a South African. Written and performed Nat Ramabulana and Athandwa Kani. The show is directed by Warren Nebe and music is by MacFarlane. It will run till the 31st of August. Tickets range from R100 - R120. The show starts at 19h00PM.
