Kseniya & Busi
We closed off with Kseniya Filinova-Bruton - Director at EduCape and Shakespeare Schools Festival SA Director. The Shakespeare School Festival hails from the UK as an additional education programme aimed at improving language and social skills through the performing arts. Each year, the festival encourages schools to perform abridged “thirty-minute” versions of Shakespearean plays in their local professional theatres throughout the country. From the 29th of July to the 1st of August the festival will be in Cape Town at Artscape Theatre featuring 13 schools. Tickets costs only R50 and R40 for block bookings of 10 people or more. Tickets are available from Computicket or Artscape's Dial-a-Seat on (021) 421 7695 or visit www.artscape.co.za.
