Furntech to host woodworking or upholstery

Iegshaan Ariefdien - Business incubator manager for Furniture Technology Centre Trust or Furntech was Instudio to tell us more about their entrepreneurial information session in the woodworking industry that they will be hosting next week. Furntech was established in 2000 through a bilateral agreement between the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Swedish Industrial Development Agency (Sida). It envisions being a productivity driven, globally competitive, outcomes-based training provider that offers comprehensive and innovative business incubation services in order to assist in job and wealth creation in South Africa's furniture and wood products sector. Furntech offers support to new, existing and start-up businesses by providing incubation facilities and accredited skills training for aspiring entrepreneurs with a passion for woodwork and furniture manufacturing. Therefore Furntech in partnership with the City of Cape Town is inviting everyone who intends to or have started their woodworking or upholstery business to attend an information session. It’s happening next week Monday June 25th at the Ruth First Community Hall in Browns Farm from 10:00AM to 13:00PM.
