Our last interview was with Lionel Louw – National Director of Harold Wolpe Memorial Trust. The Harold Wolpe Memorial Trust, Sonke Gender Justice, Instituto Promundo and the UCT’s Women’s Health Unit are holding a public seminar: Conversations on Masculinities, Gender-based Violence Prevention and Gender Equality in the Global South. The event will happen on the Monday the 8th of August at the Lesley Social Science Building at UCT from 18h00PM. Speakers includes: Professor Gary Barker - Founding Director at the Instituto Promundo, Professor Kopano Ratele - Sonke board member and UCT’s Mazibuko Jara.
