In today’s show, we were joined on the line by Ntshadi Mofokeng – from Equal Education. Equal Education and Ikamva Youth are hosting a Careers Indaba tomorrow at the Harare Library in Khayelitsha from 2:00pm till 5:00pm. They say by educating learners about the available choices and opportunities, the organisation seek to empower them to make informed decisions about their future endeavours. They will help you find out about options for further studies, how to find funding, opportunities for work and on-the-job training, volunteering, internships and GAP year programmes. There will also be workshops on career and personal development, CV writing and interview skills. The Careers Indaba is open to Grade 10 to grade 12 learners.
