In today's show we spoke to Mike van Graan – Banyana Republic playwright. Mike’s production will be showcased at this year’s Artscape’s 5th annual Women’s Arts Festival scheduled for the 4th to the 6th of August. The aim of this year’s festival is to facilitate a much needed reality check of women’s empowerment in South Africa. Banyana Republic will be on the 5th of August at 18:00 and on the 6th of August at 15:00 & 20:15. Ticket costs R60.
