On the show today, we heard from Dr Lindiwe Pemba - Medical Adviser at Novo Nordisk. We were talking about
the novoGo programme. Last week Novo Nordisk, a world leader in haemophilia and
diabetes care, working in association with the South African Haemophilia
Foundation launched a programme called novoGo that aims to facilitate treatment
of a bleeding incident as early as possible, by providing transport money to
haemophilia patients that experience emergency bleed. The programme has
been rolled out in four centres namely Charlotte Maxeke Hospital , Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital , Polokwane General Hospital and Groote Schuur Hospital . For further
information you can contact South African Haemophilia Foundation on (021) 785 7140 or
