Thursday marks World Kidney Day

We closed off with Dr Zunaid Barday - A Nephrologist for the Renal Unit at Groote Schuur Hospital. This coming Thursday is the World Kidney Day. The theme for this year’s campaign is “Stop Kidney Attack!” It is reported that 1 out of 10 adults in the world has some form of kidney damage. World Kidney Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of our kidneys to our overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide. Dr Barday explained more. For more information visit www.worldkidneyday.org
