This week is World Salt Awareness Week

Jessica Bacon - A registered dietitian at the Heart and Stroke Foundation joined us on the line. This week marks World Salt Awareness Week and according to the World Action on Salt and Health, 3 million women and 2.5 million men die from stroke every year worldwide. This year’s WASH’s World Salt Awareness Week theme is “Less Salt Please”, showing how everybody, including chefs, can use less salt and still enjoy the great flavour of their food.
