Mlungwana – From the Social Justice Coalition joined us on the line to tell us more about the night
march that they will be embarking on next Monday. Members of the Social Justice
Coalition, Equal Education and Treatment Action Campaign are expected to march
through the streets of Khayelitsha to demand adequate public lighting. They are
calling on the City to provide a plan to ensure that lights are properly
maintained, that vandalism is prevented, and that new lights are installed in
areas that are currently without street lights. For further information you can contact Phumeza on (021) 361
8160 or 074 289 5220.
