This week is the CPR week

We were also joined by Daniele Milner  - Regional Training Co-ordinator and Business Development Consultant for ER24 to tell us more about CPR or cardiopulmonary resuscitation. CPR is an emergency procedure performed if someone has stopped breathing or whose heart has stopped and this week is the CPR week, so Danielle explained more about the role of the lay rescuer/first-aider. For more information on CPR go to your nearest health care centre or call 10177 in case of an emergency. ER24 recommends the following basic steps such as CHECK, CALL and CARE when arriving at a scene and finding an emergency situation. The best way to learn CPR is to attend a CPR class presented by an accredited medical institution or emergency response provider because it’s a skill both to be learnt, practiced and regularly updated. For further information you can contact ER24 Training Academy on 0861 084 124 or send an email to daniele.milner@er24.co.za
