02 September - Gender - Defining 'Abuse'
In today's show, we heard from Charmaine Williamson – Chairperson of the board of the Advice Desk for Abused Women. Williamson says women need to educate themselves on the definition of ‘abuse’. Recent statistics reveals that one in every four women in South Africa is abused. Charmaine explained more on why women should be fully aware of the definition and scope of abuse.
