Labour - Next week is Financial Planning Week

On Sakhisizwe today, we were joined by Craig Torr - A certified Financial Planner at Crue Consulting to tell us more about commemorating Financial Planning Week and the two free financial planning workshops they will be hosting. The Financial Planning Week is a national initiative of the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa. Individuals with modest incomes, like gardeners and domestic workers who generally have no form of financial planning are encouraged to attend the two free good investment workshops. The first workshop on Monday November 25th at Allan Gray Auditorium, 1 Silo Square at the V&A Waterfront from 6:00PM till 7:00PM is specifically tailored for people between the ages of 20 - 35 years which will allow them the opportunity to discuss their specific needs with a professional. The second workshop on Thursday November 28th at Claremont Hall in Bath Road from 4:00PM - 5:30PM is specifically tailored for gardeners and domestic workers as it will focus on the dark side of credit and give accessible advice about budgeting, cost of debt and saving efficiently. All attendees will receive an attendee workbook, covering the various areas discussed in detail and a pocket book sized personal monthly budget planner.
