iKhaya Lami donates 90 houses to Khayelitsha Fire Victims

We closed off with an interview with Andy Bolnick - Manager of iKhaya Lami to tell us more about the organisation and the houses that they recently handed over to the fire victims of Khayelitsha. Founded in 2006 iKhaya Lami is a Not for Profit Organisation that aims to develop and implement affordable technical solutions for Informal Settlement Upgrading. iKhaya Lami's areas of focus include research and development, upgrading of shelters, infrastructural development, community facilities, blocking-out (reconfiguring settlement wide layouts), disaster response and sales to the public to reach more people and lead to sustainability.
