On the show today, we heard from Lesedi Oluko Moche – Encounters South African International Documentary Festival Director. The organisers of Encounters are calling for entries from South African and International filmmakers for the festival. Encounters encourages filmmakers to submit films completed after July 2012, although films made before are also eligible for consideration into the festival. They do not accept films that have been broadcast on South African television before the festival. Deadline for submissions is the 22nd of March 2013 at 5PM. All South African and African filmmakers are exempt from having to pay the entry fee. For all other nationals, the entry fee is $15USD (non-refundable), payable through PayPal.For additional information please to contact Nazeer Ahmed by sending an email to info@encounters.co.za or call (021) 465 4686 alternatively www.encounters.co.za
