We closed off with an interview with Vivien Marks - Spokesperson for Assessment and Training Centre for Real
Estate Agents. She was speaking to us about the responsibilities of tenants and
landlords, the legislation that governs residential rentals and practical
guidelines on how to rent out a property. Vivien also serves on the Rental
Housing Tribunal. The Assessment and Training Centre for Real Estate Agents
seeks to be active in promoting the latest educational qualifications and
training rental agents to a high standard of efficiency. Its primary task is to
inform and assist all estate agents to acquire the new qualifications as
demanded by government and to support all estate agents who are to undergo
Recognition of Prior learning and who require training in residential rentals.
