World of Birds recovering
We closed off the show with an interview with Walter Mangold – Owner at the World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary. One of their goals is to bring wildlife to the people by establishing breeding centres and sanctuaries to show that wildlife and urban development can be compatible. Last year was a difficult year for the sancuary as they faced financial problems but Walter says they are recovering. For more information go to www.worldofbirds.org.za or contact (021) 790 2730.
