Arts update and In Medea Res!!!

We closed off with an interview with Awelani Moyo - In Medea Res Assistant Director. Written and Directed by Aja Marneweck this production of In Medea Res will preview at the Arena Theatre from the 8th till the 12th of September in Cape Town before heading on tour to France and Belgium in September. Using their signature mix of puppetry, multimedia and story-telling, The Paper Body Collective have created In Medea Res which tells the story of Leto, a beautiful Goddess cast out of heaven after an illicit love affair with Zeus and her amazing adventure into exile. Awelani explained more about the story. In Medea Res runs for five nights from the 8th till the 12th of September @ 19:00 in Cape Town at the Arena theatre and tickets are a low R40 for adults, R20 for students. Block bookings and schools bookings also qualify for this discount. Tickets can be booked on (021) 462 5811 weekdays from 10am-12pm.
