15 September - Human Rights - Presidential hotline up and running!!!
In today's show we heard from Vusi Mona – head of communications in the presidency. We were talking about the Presidential Hotline that was launched on Monday. President Jacob Zuma promised the hotline during his state of the nation address in June. The hotline is meant to be a tool to allow disgruntled citizens to communicate directly with the presidency about service delivery issues. The number is 17737 and is toll-free.
