Urban Voices International Arts Festival 2009!!!

We were also joined Instudio by Mbali Vilakazi – a poet to talk about the Urban Voices International Arts Festival 2009. This year’s festival will feature dance, song and performance poetry eclectically influenced from Ghana, USA, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and South Africa. Talented young and emerging South African poets from the three cities will show their mettle on stage and proudly display the diversity that has become synonymous with our country’s image. The festival will be on Sunday 26th of July at the Baxter Theatre at 8pm. Tickets costs R150. Bookings can be made at Computicket or at the Door.
