16 July - Labour, Doctors wage negotiations hangs in the balance
We also heard from Dr Mark Sonderup - Western Cape chairperson for the South African Medical Association. Doctors who were on strike last month agreed to go back to work about two weeks ago but there are some reports that they might down tools again in July 25. The South African Medical Association held secret ballots last week to determine whether its members should accept a revised wage offer by the government. Dr Sonderup explained more
