17 July - Arts, Culture and Environment - "Team up to Clean up!" in honour of Tata Madiba
In today's show we were joined on the line by Thozama Sphondo - Chairperson of the Imizamo Yethu Waste Task Team. Imizamo Yethu is celebrating Nelson Mandela's 91st Birthday tomorrow with a Mass Cleanup and are inviting the rest of Hout Bay to do the same in their areas. Their message is "Team up to Clean up!" in honour of Tata Madiba. The clean up will start and finish with the sound of bells, gongs and hooters at 12h00 -13h07.
