Today we spoke to Fatima Shabodien – Director of Women on Farms Project. The project aims to push equality, respect and dignity that all women on farms deserve. Their vision is to have an alternative South African rural landscape in which women play active leadership roles within family, community, labour, economic and government structures. The Sonke Gender Justice Network and the Center for Digital Storytelling are creating a series of short digital stories that narrate the lives of men working within AIDS and gender activism.
