Today we spoke to Kailsh Bhana – Director of the Gender Education and Training Network or GETNET. We also spoke to Marcia Raymond – Chairperson and convenor of the Friends of Central Library. The Central Library hosted talk on "Special Protection that South African Women enjoy from the Law: What every woman should know" by Advocate Denise Beukes Senior Legal Advisor to the Western Cape SAPS yesterday. Marcia told us more about some of the issues that were tackled.
