21 February – Gender
Today we spoke to Nokuthula Mbethe - Project Leader of Young Womens Forum from Quaker Peace Centre. This project focuses on raising awareness of issues affecting young women and how best to use the rights they have, as they generally do not have opportunities for their joint voice to be heard. The forum will enable young women to come together, network, address issues affecting them and work towards change. For more information about the project you can contact the Quaker Peace Centre offices at 021 685 7800 or visit their website at www.quarker.org
