12 January – Arts, Culture and Environment
Today we spoke to Laurence Mitchell from the Cape Film Commission. The Cape Film Commission is running a film exhibition in Guga Sthebe kwaLanga. The idea is to get more people to watch local product and become aware of the Job Opportunities in the industry. The first session is in Animation and covers the history of Animation. The second workshop is on Scriptwriting, and encourages young people to realize that what they live is a story and is worth telling. For more information about the event you can contact the Cape Film Commission at (021) 483 9070.
