On Sakhisizwe today, we spoke to Bronwyn Evans and Dr. J.J. Hurtak - Co-founder of the Academy for Future Science, an international non-governmental organization that works to bring co-operation between science and consciousness. He is in the country to give a talk on Discovering our New Reality and Learning to Experience Your Higher Self.

Co-Creativity:  Discovering our New Reality – Drs JJ & Desiree Hurtak R80.  We are co-creators of our own world. By exploring the new wonders of life in the cosmos as well as those within us, we discover the inner depths of our reality. Consciousness expansion begins with us.  With it we can meet any serious challenges and bring a greater stability and balance to our immediate surroundings and perhaps the world. We will explore the use of music and meditation to help us to go into deeper levels of awareness and to unify body, mind and spirit.

Learning to Experience Your Higher Self - Drs JJ& Desiree Hurtak  R350 (includes light lunch and tea).  We are interconnected with all life forms, but what are the preparations we need to make while living here and now? We can begin by understanding that our Overself body is the real starting-point in discovering how we work with the energies that flow through the All That Is. This workshop will introduce the book entitled “Overself Awakening” that details the important stages one experiences along the spiritual Path towards our highest potential. In this aspect of the Ascension teachings, we examine what makes us unique, as well as collective. Music and meditation will also be a key part of this group experience.

Winter having an effect on Bloodstocks

The Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) is appealing to all donors to donate blood as blood stocks are critically low. “The winter is having a severe effect on our bloodstocks and we are amidst a severe blood stock shortage”, says Marike Carli, Public Relations Manager at WCBS. There is a critical shortage in the O and B blood groups, with only a 2-day supply left. The A-positive blood stocks are also under severe pressure as only a 3-day supply is left. WCBS always aim to have a blood stock level of 5 days. The winter weather is not conducive to going out, and with the continuing storms in Cape Town, they are seeing the effects on their blood stocks. Blood donors suffer from colds and flu during this time and can subsequently not donate blood – up until the resolution of their symptoms .
