Arts, Culture & Environment - Dance for All to host end of year function

In today's show, we spoke to Bridgette Brukman - Fundraising and Marketing Manager for Dance for All. Dance for All is set to present the much anticipated, diverse and inspiring two-hour production showcasing about 100 of its students at their end of year function to be held at the Springfield Convent Centenary School Hall, tomorrow at 14:00PM and 19:00PM. Dance for All is a community based project which seeks to uplift the children in underprivileged communities by providing the opportunity for enjoyment and promotion of self-esteem through the medium of dance. Ticket prices for the event range from R15 (for children and pensioners) and R25 (for adults) and can be purchased through Computicket and at all Shoprite stores. As an added attraction and an additional way that you can support DFA, the beautiful coffee-table book Pieces of a Dream: the story of Dance for All, by Gillan Warren-Brown, will be on sale at the production. The author and CEO, Philip Boyd of DFA will be available to sign copies of the Book. (Retail price: R250:00). For more information on the event, please contact Dance for All on (021) 697 5509 or email admin@danceforall.co.za
