SA's Top 12 Shisa Nyamas to battle for the top spot

We closed off with Mzoli Ngcawuzele – Owner of KwaMzoli Shisa Nyama. Mr Ngcawuzele has been selected to participate in the first ever battle of the Shisa Nyamas, which will take place on the 26th of October in Gauteng. With KwaMzoli being one of the favoured Shisa Nyamas in South Africa, he's got something very special planned for this challenge so he joined us to talk more about his plans. Nando’s Retail Division has put out a challenge to 12 of South Africa’s Top Shisa Nyamas. 800 million people around the world are living with obesity.

  4th of March is observed as World Obesity Day and we spoke to CEO Professor Pamela Naidoo and Dietitian Kinza Hussian from The Heart and Stroke Foundation.  So according to the World Obesity Federation, 800 million people around the world are living with obesity. And then also in South Africa almost 65% of women and 30% of men are classified as being overweight or obese. Child Protection Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about the rights and well-being of children. It typically includes a series of events, campaigns, and activities aimed at promoting child safety, preventing abuse, and advocating for policies and practices that support children's healthy development.  Molo Songololo is a registered non-profit organization that promotes the rights and protection of children and youth, and especially girls. Their work aligns with the goals of Child Protection Week, focusing on advocacy, education, and empowerment to create a safer and more inclusive environment for children.
