Hand in Hand South Africa is calling for Social Entrepreneurship Programme applications

We also heard from Sazini Mojapelo – CEO of the Hand in Hand South Africa. They are calling for applications for their Social Entrepreneurship Programme. Hand in Hand SA is a NGO with a vision of reducing poverty through job creation. They implement a unique Self Help Group model enabling beneficiaries to start, run and grow their own income generating activities into sustainable enterprises that create jobs. The course combines world-class teaching by  Professor V. Kasturi Rangan of Harvard Business School with field visits and expert Q&As to explore how social entrepreneurs can empower people to work their way out of poverty, create jobs and drive economic growth. The SEP 2013 will take place in South Africa from the 18-22 August 2013 and the fee is R22 000. The fee includes all tuition, local transport, accommodation and meals. The course will be held close to the city of Rustenburg - a 90 minute drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria.
