CGE strongly condemns the killing of Duduzile Zozo

Wallace Mgoqi - Commissioner of the Commission for Gender Equality to tell us more about their concern regarding the continued killings of gays and lesbians. CGE is calling for all invested parties to rally around LGBTI people and help society understand that they are human beings who deserve respect and protection regardless of their sexual orientation. This follows the recent unfortunate killing of Duduzile Zozo in Thokoza and other LGBTI people around the country and therefore CGE is appealing upon the Justice Cluster to fast-track the investigation and prosecuting of cases that involve the killing of gays and lesbians since they have noted long delays in cases relating to this issue. For further information you can contact CGE on (011) 403 7183 or visit www.cge.org.za
