June is National Blood Donor Month

Marlize Mouton - Corporate public relations officer for the Western Province Blood Transfusion Services joined us on the line to tell us more about donating blood and commemorating World Blood Donor Day and National Blood Donor Month. World Blood Donor Day is aimed at raising awareness of the need for safe blood and products and to thank voluntary unpaid donors for their life-saving gifts of blood.
