On the show today, we spoke to Colin Habberton - CEO for the GivenGain Foundation South Africa .
We were talking about the Southern Africa Fundraising Awards. The Southern
Africa Institute of Fundraising invites entries for its inaugural Southern
Africa Fundraising Awards. The award is aimed at fundraisers who help to bring
about positive social change by finding innovative and creative ways to
mobilise resources for the nonprofit sector in Southern Africa. The call for nominations for the five award
categories: Big Idea, Small Budget; Innovative Fundraising Campaign; Social
Enterprise of the Year; Southern Africa Fundraiser of the Year; and Outstanding
Volunteer. Any
individual or organisation within Southern Africa can submit nominations. The
nominations will be judged by an independent panel of judges and award
recipients will be announced at a gala event on the 10th of October
2013, during the SAIF National Convention 2013 (7 - 11 October) in Cape
Town. For
