Gender - Amineh Kakabaveh visits South Africa

On the show today, we heard from Amineh Kakabaveh - Feminist and Member of the Swedish left party in Parliament. Amineh is in South Africa for a wine conference hosted by Sikhula Sonke. Sikhula Sonke is a women led independent farmworkers union based in the Western Cape. They focus on issues such as labour rights, domestic violence, food insecurity and alcohol abuse. Amineh said she will be developing further strategies to support farm workers.
