Director of Women Empowerment at the Department of Trade and Indsutry. She was
speaking to us about the empowerment of women which is essential to building
stronger economies. Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Elizabeth Thabethe
emphasised the importance of empowering women to participate fully in economic
life across all sectors which is essential to building stronger economies
during the Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference that was held in Italy
last week. Deputy Minister Thabethe is currently leading a delegation
of businesswomen on an outward mission which started in Netherlands. For
