18 October - Human Rights - Trans-disciplinary Centre opened in Wellington
In today’s show, we spoke to Retha Bloem - Head of the Centre for Child, Youth and Family Studies. A trans-disciplinary Centre for Child, Youth and Family Studies opened in Wellington to help build the scientific, technological and intellectual capacity of its graduates through structured teaching and supervised research as well as community interaction through in-service learning embedded in community directed research. Retha said even though located in Wellington, the Centre falls under the auspices of North West University.
