We also heard from Mzukisi Vicani – From Books on Bikes. Books on Bikes is a non-profit initiative designed to promote reading and literacy by collecting and distributing second-hand books to community libraries across the country while transforming our cities and communities into bike-friendly spaces. Books on Bikes will be part of National Book Week with partners, Velokhaya Life Cycling Academy by setting up a demo library in Mitchell’s Plain to encourage reading and sharing of books for the week.
