“Why Should Feminists Care About the Secrecy Bill?” asks Sarah
And our last interview was with Sarah Duff - an academic and activist. Sarah recently wrote an article on “Why Should Feminists Care About the Secrecy Bill?” It is believed that the Protection of Information Bill also known as the Secrecy Bill, which is currently before Parliament will fundamentally undermine hard won constitutional rights including access to information and freedom of expression. Next week Tuesday the R2K Campaign will be holding an information meeting at IDASA, members of the community are invited to join. For more information visit www.r2k.org.za or contact the Right 2 Know Campaign on (021) 461 7211.
