Artscape to present uplifting Xhosa ceremonial songs and dances
We closed off the show with an interview with Professor Nomvula Mtetwa – Ezethu Pioneer. Ezethu is a theatre production which incorporates uplifting Xhosa ceremonial songs and dances. The production will be staged at Artscape Theatre from the 8th – 10th July. This production is part of Artscape’s Indigenous Arts Department which was established in 2007, aiming to develop, mentor and preserve South African indigenous customs through the arts at grassroots level.
