25 November - Gender - support the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence Campaign
In today's show we spoke to Kathleen Dey – Director of Rape Crisis. We were talking about the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence Campaign. The Sixteen Days of Activism Against Gender Violence is an internationally recognised campaign held every year between the 25th of November and the 10th of December. The campaign commences with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women which is today and ends with International Human Rights Day on the 10th of December. Kathleen explained more on activities that they have planned for this year including the "Stop the Bus Campaign.
