20 November - Arts, Culture & Environment - Spoken Word Festival on at the Baxter
In today’s show, we heard from Eddy Cassar – Organiser for the Spoken Word Festival currently on at the Baxter till tomorrow. The festival showcases poetry, comedy and storytelling. Audiences can look forward to beat-box masters backing poetry, interesting collaborations featuring artists like Ewok, a spoken word artist and Durban-based actor; Teba, a ragga artist; singer, songwriter Keeno-Lee Hector. Eddy says the content of the shows is “learner friendly”, making them ideal for schools to attend. For more information, please contact Eddy by sending an email to info@eddycassarpr or call (021) 438 2595. To make a booking, visit www.Computicket.com
