21 September - Health - Eye Care Awareness!!!
In today’s show, we spoke to Sanjay Singh - CEO of Bonang Eye Care. From today till the 19th of October is the Eye Care Awareness Month. The purpose of this initiative is to inform the public as to the ways and means of preserving eye health as well as creating public awareness. Last year’s theme was “Eyes on the future – fighting vision impairment in later life”. Bonang Eye Care was established in 2003 as an initiative of the South African Optometric association to function as an independent Incorporated Company with the aim of providing eye care services at a low cost to the economically compromised community members who do not have the support of a Medical aid. Mr Singh explained more about their services.
