12 August - Gender - free Pap smear tests this Women's Month!!!
Today we heard from Soraya Elloker – spokesperson for the City Health. The City of Cape Town is offering free Pap smear tests at 98 of its health care facilities to mark the start of Women’s Month. It is reported that 3 400 South African women die annually from cervical cancer which is a treatable and preventable disease with early detection.
