Labour - Cape Chamber of Commerce to host free small business development expos

On Sakhisizwe today, we were joined by Basier Dramat – From the Cape Chamber of Commerce. The Cape Chamber of Commerce is turning 210 this month and for their birthday month they want to celebrate by sharing valuable information with the business community in the regions and linking them up with various business institutions and government bodies in order to assist them in finding opportunities for growth. Basier spoke to us about the series free small business development expos they will be hosting.

15 May – West Coast (12 – 4pm) at the Waschklip Function Centre, Langebaan

20 May – Cape flats, Mitchell’s Plain, Athlone and Khayelitsha (10am – 2pm) Liberty Promenade Mall, Mitchell’s Plain entrance 4 food court area

22 May – Cape coast and Tygerberg (10am – 2pm) at Bon Amis, Durbanville

3 June – Drakenstein, Helderberg, Stellenbosch (10am – 2pm) at the Stellenbosch Lodge.

Business will receive information from The City of Cape Town, Productivity SA, the Exporters Club, and various other business institutions and government bodies. The information that will be given to SMMEs are related to what tendering opportunities are available, how to effectively market your business, exporting opportunities in Africa, mediation and arbitration avenues for business, BBBEE compliance and much more.
