Human Rights - CASE Youth-in-Action programme empowers

In today's show, we spoke to Vionaver Booysen - From the Community Action towards a Safer Environment or CASE. CASE seeks to break the cycle of crime and violence in which young people live by equipping community members to reorganise and respond appropriately to both the causes and effects of crime and violence in their communities. We were talking about the Youth-in-Action programme that she coordinates. Youth-in-Action is a leadership and personal development project for youth between the ages of 15-25 years. Focus is on personal and community development, training in leadership to equip them to help run community projects. For further information you can contact CASE on (021) 691 7066/73 or send an email to youth@case.za.org alternatively visit www.case.za.org
